We were able to check out all three bands this last Tuesday night and they did not disappoint. Got a chance to hang with the LOP and The Whip and had a great time. The merch gal for LOP was amazing and since they were out of girls sized tees, she cut me a custom dress out of a men's xl! I think that is going to be my favorite band tee of all time. Thank Daylen. By the way, Daylen has her own line of graphic tees that rock. contact her at myspace.com/kimonosrock.RL

Not commenting about Sundance ... but just the same wanted to let you know I wrote a blog post about the recent panel discussion you participated in at SAM - available here http://www.djc.com/blogs/BuildingGreen/2009/01/23/architecture-art-fashion-sustainable/ . Thought it was quite interesting!

Fabulous post, Rebecca. I agree with all of it. Must admit I've been doing more "shopping out of my closet" this year than in the past, and it's good. Altough I am still adding accessories and a few pieces, it actually brings out the creative side to shop less. I have Chanel, A Woman of Her Own on my list to read next!

That's good news for me because I dress anything but trendy. Of course, blue jeans and T-shirts will never go out of style!

Hi Kelsey. Yes, I can see this perspective, however in my experience, the cheapest garments are the "trendy" ones; color and style. By understanding good design and getting back to finding what looks good on you, you can create your own style that transcends being "trendy".

Isn't part of the problem that quality is devalued because even the cheapest of garments often outlive the latest fashion trends?
