I don’t know about you, but I am ready to wear something short and flirty and not have to throw on the tights, boots, coat, scarf…etc.  It is always fun in December to start checking out the resort looks, prepping for Spring.  In the Northwest, most everyone is gearing up to go on a tropical holiday about this time of year.  The only thing that helps us get through the rainy season.  I have been inspired by the new floral prints coming out this season that can be anchored with a solid pop color like purple or hot pink.  I know that sounds a bit 80′s….maybe it is, but it is inspiring.  Check out Balenciaga for killer prints. Gucci is mixing floral prints with bold red,, black and white statements.  Most department stores such as Nordstrom and Saks, as well as mainstream stores such as Banana Republic and Club Monaco have resort collections already.  Never to early to get a jump on your look for spring. Guess it’s time to get into the gym. RL
